These 100% cotton dresses are woven in a style known as zakar by Pearl & Caviar.
They are woven on state-of-the-art looms but with a traditional technique where you combine threads to achieve the final weave. One thread can change the whole pattern…
Then the fabric is pre washed, because each zakar weave has a unique shrinkage rate depending on the complexity of the pattern.
So every Pearl and Caviar piece fits exactly the same after you wash it the first time. They are the easiest garments to care for as you machine wash them, shake them and lay them or hang them to dry. Ironing is totally optional!
